  Worst experience. My family doctor booked an appointment for me in March. I received the email March 20th with all the appointment details. I misread the date of my appointment as March 26th rather than what the email actually said (May 26th). Thinking the appointment was March 26th I gave their office a call to cancel the appointment as it was too short notice. When I called the receptionist informed me that I was mistaken and it was actually May 26th - So I told her, that was perfect! 2 months was more than enough time to book off work and ensure I could make my appointment. I told her I'd see her on May 26th. Today is May 26th, I went into the office 15 minutes early and gave the receptionist my health card. She told me in return that my appointment had been cancelled. I told her, there must be a mistake and that I told the receptionist back in March that I was going to be able to come to the appointment. Long story short, they told me they could not accommodate me. Implied that it was my duty to have noticed that I did not receive a call a week prior to confirm my appointment (which I thought I already did in March..& also it is not my responsibility to search up your office policy to see if I am supposed to receive a call a week prior to my appointment) & offered no compensation or apology for the day I took off work to come to this appointment. This office demands a $75 fee if you cancel or change your appointment within 48 hours, but the same DOES NOT apply to YOU the patient when they cancel an appointment on you without notice. Steer clear of them. Upon reading some of their reviews after this incident, it is clear they don't care about patient care, just their bottom line.
